Chelsea have shown their capabilities in recent weeks and also their flaws as they battle hard to retain fourth spot in the Premier League.
Defeats against the likes of Everton, Bournemouth and Southampton have somewhat derailed the Blues’ hopes of pulling away in the race for the top four, but wins over Tottenham and Arsenal have been equally important in keeping Frank Lampard’s team inside the Champions League qualification spots.
But after enduring a transfer ban in the summer, Lampard now has the chance to make some major improvements to his side ahead of the January transfer window.
And if the latest transfer rumours are anything to go by, there are a lot of options for Lampard and Chelsea ahead of the transfer window opening tomorrow.

Hodgson makes Zaha transfer admission
Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has made a transfer admission about Wilfried Zaha amid links to Chelsea ahead of the upcoming January window.
Zaha was heavily linked with Arsenal and Everton in the summer but nothing came to fruition.
Now Chelsea are said to be in the mix and Hodgson has opened up on the situation.
“Wilf is not for sale – we aren’t trying to sell Wilfried Zaha,” Hodgson said, per Mirror Football. “We want to keep Wilfried Zaha.
“What assurance can people give? I have the assurance there is no one in the club that wants to sell Wilfried Zaha, but of course you never know where bids are going to come from.
“I suppose every time there is a serious bid for one of your players, the board of directors needs to take it seriously.
“It’s certainly not something we’re looking for and, by the same token, everyone at the club is aware we need strengthening, we need some help in terms of our group of players because there are certain areas we don’t have the cover or competition we need.
