The shirt numbers available to Werner, Sancho, Zaha and Ake if they join Chelsea in January

Chelsea will be able to sign players in the January transfer window.

At the beginning of December, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) confirmed that the Blues had been successful in their appeal to reduce the two-transfer window ban.

As a result, there have been many names linked with a Chelsea transfer in the weeks since the ban was reduced, ranging from Jadon Sancho and Wilfried Zaha to Timo Werner and defenders Nathan Ake and Ben Chilwell.

But what shirt numbers will be available for any new signings during the transfer window?

The current owner of this shirt number technically is Danny Drinkwater who spent the first half of the season on loan at Burnley.

It’s likely that he will be returning to west London in January, although he’s been linked with another loan switch to Aston Villa.
