Chelsea have devised a three-man shortlist should they miss out on the transfer of Jadon Sancho this winter or summer.
The 19-year-old is top of the wish-list at Stamford Bridge as Frank Lampard aims to splash out for the first time after being appointed Blues boss.
He was prevented from doing so in the summer after a FIFA ban was implemented on the club.
But an appeal to the Court of Abritration for Sport has seen the punishment lifted and fans are desperate to see some money spent – especially after losing Eden Hazard to Real Madrid in the previous transfer window.
Borussia Dortmund whizkid Sancho is the one that has got the supporters talking but Chelsea face a difficult bid to convince him to join them.
As well as the Blues, a whole host of clubs are interested in the Englishman – including Liverpool , Manchester United , Barcelona and Paris St-Germain.
And according to the Telegraph , Chelsea have agreed a contingency plan should they miss out on the teenager.
Frank Lampard could splash the cash this January
They report that Leon Bailey, Samuel Chukwueze and Fyodor Chalov are all being kept close tabs on by Stamford Bridge chiefs.
Bailey has been impressing scouts at Bayer Leverkusen with his speed and trickery but there are concerns over his goal ratio – which is not great.
There are also worries over his fitness, with this season wrecked by a series of injuries – but the Jamaica international has been scouted by the club before.

And Chukwueze is another target who has long been on Chelsea’s radar but at 20 is touted as one for the future.
As well these players, Nathan Ake and Wilfried Zaha are also being looked at by Lampard.
