Chelsea news: Timo Werner transfer hint, strikers available in January, Lampard on Zaha deal

Chelsea’s first game of 2020 ended in a 1-1 draw.

Frak Lampard’s men travelled to the AMEX Stadium looking to build on a 2-1 win over Arsenal at the weekend.

And it did look like the Blues would take all three points from the game, through a first half strike from Cesar Azpilicueta. However, a late acrobatic effort from Alireza Jahanbakhsh meant that Lampard would have to settle for a point.

The Blues are next in action on Sunday when they take on Championship side Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.
