Chelsea assistant manager Jody Morris has said that Michy Batshuayi is available if other clubs wish to make offers to sign him in the January transfer window.
The Belgian has been linked with Aston Villa following an injury to their main striker Wesley Moraes.
Dean Smith is set to meet with chief executive Christian Purslow and sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch ahead a trip to London to face Fulham in the FA Cup, as reported by BirminghamLive.
Crystal Palace took the ex-Marseille striker on loan last season in January and their fans remain hopeful that he could return to Selhurst Park in 2020.

In a poll of supporters conducted by football.london ahead of the January transfer window, 52.83% of those who responding named Batshuayi as their top priority target for the Eagles.
Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s FA Cup clash with Nottingham Forest, Morris praised the forward for his attitude and hinted that the club may have to replace him if he were to leave.
“He still plays for Chelsea,” he said. “We can’t just let players walk out the door if going to be short somewhere.
“We need to look at individuals but he’s been a class act and top professional. I don’t envisage there being any problems in that regard.
