Latest Chelsea transfer news: Alex Telles price tag revealed, Jadon Sancho decision made

Chelsea have already been linked with a host of January transfers with the window only three days old.

Michy Batshuayi has been heavily touted to join Aston Villa on loan, whilst Olivier Giroud’s future is up in the air.

Telles price tag revealed

Chelsea will have to pay €40m if they want to sign Porto left-back Alex Telles this summer.

Portuguese outlet  A Bola  reports that Telles has a release clause in his current deal set at that figure and Porto have no interest in negotiating a lower fee.

Chelsea are rumoured to be in the market for a left-back with Marcos Alonso and Emerson linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea join Koulibaly chase

Chelsea are the latest club to join the chase for the signature of Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.

Tottenham Hotspur are also believed to be interested in 28-year-old and the Italian club’s interest in Jan Vertonghen further complicates the deal.

However, according to  Corriere del Mezzogiorno , both Chelsea and Tottenham are in contact with representatives of the player as they consider tabling a bid.

Manchester United and Everton have also been linked with a bid for Koulibaly.
