Chelsea star Michy Batshuayi makes Aston Villa transfer decision

Michy Batshuayi is reluctant to swap Chelsea for Aston Villa during the January transfer window.

Dean Smith’s side are looking to retain their Premier League status but have been dealt a blow in the form of Wesley’s injury.

The forward is set to miss the rest of the season leaving Villa lacking a goalscorer and have highlighted Batshuayi as a replacement.

But the Belgian does not want to swap the Blues for a side involved in a relegation scrap and will need some convincing reports the Athletic .

Contact has been made over a short-term loan for Batshuayi, who has been farmed out by Chelsea on several occasions since he signed in 2016.
