What Abraham, Tomori and James did ahead of Chelsea’s FA Cup tie vs Nottingham Forest

Three of Chelsea’s first-team squad took full advantage of a rare free Saturday in their schedule.

The Blues are in FA Cup action this afternoon as they face Nottingham Forest in the third round at Stamford Bridge in a repeat of the fixture at the same stage of the competition last season.

12 months ago the hosts were 2-0 victors thanks to a brace from Alvaro Morata.

A similar result would go down well amongst supporters who have seen Frank Lampard’s side struggle at home of late.

But before the FA Cup tie, the Blues’ U18’s were in action against their Arsenal counterparts on Saturday afternoon – a game which took place at the club’s training base in Cobham.

Present for the London derby were several members of the coaching staff including Jody Morris and Ashley Cole, while technical and performance adviser Petr Cech also made an appearance.

Blues supporters will love who else was present.

As seen in the images below, Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori and Recce James were also spotted at the training ground taking in the action against the Gunners.

The trio have come through the ranks at Chelsea and it’s nice to seen them taking an interest in the club’s next generation.
