Chelsea star N’Golo Kante has been named in the EA Sports FIFA 20 team of the year.
The Frenchman has been recognised with a place in the FIFA 20 team of the year, after helping Chelsea win the Europa League last season.
Kante is the only Chelsea player in the team, which is largely dominated by Liverpool after they won the Champions League, with the Frenchman joining the likes of compatriot Kylian Mbappe, Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi and Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne in the 11.
Five Liverpool stars are included in the 11, including goalkeeper Alisson, defenders Andrew Robertson, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold forward Sadio Mane.

The other players to be included in the team are former Ajax stars Frenkie De Jong and Matthijs De Ligt, who have both now moved on to Barcelona and Juventus respectively.
And Kante has sent a message to supporters after his inclusion in the team, which is voted for by fans.
In a post from Chelsea via social media, he said: “Thank you for voting for me in the EA Sports Fifa Team of the Year.
“It is an honour to be named in this team.”
Meanwhile, his manager Frank Lampard spoke of his delight for the Frenchman, who he described as “great to work with.”
“Congratulations to N’Golo for making it into the EA Sports Fifa Team of the Year,” he said.
“He is a fantastic player, great to work with and I am so happy for him, so congratulations from myself and all the team.”
