The January transfer window is open and with the ban lifted, Chelsea could have players coming in and out this month.
Frank Lampard has made it clear that he is willing to bring in players if they can add to the quality that he has in the squad already.
But that isn’t the only issue for the Blues boss, with several players whose contracts are running out or might want to move on for more playing time.

This is the big one for Lampard with the Brazilian’s contract running out in the summer and negotiations ongoing with the club.
The 31-year-old is hoping for a two-year deal from the Blues and Lampard is keen for the winger to put pen to paper for the short-term future.
If he doesn’t then there is a case for Willian to move on and there will be clubs interested in taking him on.
There is no doubt Olivier Giroud is going to be moving on from Chelsea in 2020, but it remains to be seen if it will be in January or the summer.
The 33-year-old wants out this month ahead of the Euros, but it will only be if the club have a replacement to bring in beforehand.
Giroud was excellent in the Europa League winning run, but he is going to play little in the rest of the campaign.
Pedro might also have featured in his final Chelsea game during the FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon.
His contract runs out in the summer and the Blues would be ready to get some money out of him, rather than the Spaniard leaving for free.
