Tottenham’s U23s faced a London derby in Premier League 2 this evening as they hosted Chelsea.
The two teams did battle at Stevenage’s Lamex Stadium in front of a crowd of 591 fans and the Blues provided a stern test for Spurs.
Chelsea have not lost a single game in the competition so far this season, winning six and drawing six of their 12 matches before this clash.

Wayne Burnett’s Tottenham side have been far more inconsistent, winning five matches from their 13 thus far, but losing six and sharing the spoils twice.
Spurs had conceded 24 goals in those games with only three teams having let in more, which left the north London outfit with a -1 goal difference compared to Chelsea’s 10 before the encounter.
Tottenham fared better than their first team counterparts who lost 2-0 to Frank Lampard’s side before Christmas, but it still ended in defeat.
