Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater has completed a loan move to Aston Villa.
The ex-England international will play out the rest of the season at Villa Park as he looks to resurrect his season following a failed loan move to fellow Premier League side Burnley.
Drinkwater signed a season-long loan deal at Turf Moor in the summer, but has seen his game time limited to just one appearance in the Premier League and one in the Carabao Cup.
He returned to Stamford Bridge at the start of January after cutting his time with Sean Dyche’s team short, and had now moved back to the midlands to join up with Aston Villa as they look to fight off relegation from the Premier League.
