Wilfried Zaha could be on his way to Chelsea , with Blues director Marina Granovskaia reportedly entering into negotiations with Crystal Palace .
Frank Lampard ’s side have been heavily linked with the 27-year-old, with the club desperate for attacking recruits.
Last month, Lampard outlined the importance for Chelsea to sign a forward now that their transfer ban has been lifted.
“I will look at all areas of the team but I think it was quite clear in the summer that you lose Eden Hazard, who was a huge part of scoring or creating our goals last season and the season before that,” he said.
“I think we’ve found ways as a team where we can still be competitive. We’ve shown that in the league and now the Champions League.
“But if we’re looking at if we can get even better, can we get better in forward areas to help the idea of being more clinical, then I think we’ll always look at that.”
“We’re just not converting enough. Some of that is to keep working and I’m not here to criticise anybody but we have standards here.

“I know how much the players also want to be successful. It’s very clear, so we’ll keep working towards it.”
Zaha and Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho have emerged as the Blues’ main targets but, with Sancho unlikely to leave before the end of the season, Zaha is the most likely option this month.
The Eagles reportedly want a fee of around £70m for their talisman and, according to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira , Chelsea are prepared to offer Michy Batshauyi as a makeweight.
