Real Madrid ‘eye’ £68m bid

According to El Desmarque, Real Madrid are interested in a bid for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

Despite the forward penning a new deal, Zidane is ready to move for the German international after growing frustrated by the indifferent form of Luka Jovic.

Chelsea are also interested in signing Werner this month, but according to the Telegraph there has been confusion over the release clause in Werner’s contract, with some quoting as low as £25.6million and some quoting as high as £51.2m in recent months.
