The January transfer window is officially open for business as clubs brace themselves for the madness that a transfer window normally brings.
Sides around Europe will no doubt be looking to strengthen their squads for the second half of the campaign, and Premier League clubs are no different.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and others are all being linked with signing new players, with the 2020 January transfer window now open until January 31.

Chelsea target David Alaba

Left-back is a key area that Frank Lampard wants to strengthen in the Chelsea squad, with doubts over the future of Marcos Alonso and Emerson.

Ben Chilwell has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, however, The Mirror claims that Alaba is their first choice option.
It would cost a whopping £60m to sign the 27-year-old.
Man United and Juventus chase Icardi
Manchester United and Juventus have entered the race to sign Mauro Icardi from Inter Milan, despite Paris-Saint Germain’s option to purchase the Argentinian striker.
The 26-year-old has been in fantastic form for the Ligue 1 champions this season, scoring 14 goals in 18 appearances.

However, according to Calcio Mercato, Juventus are keen to swoop in and sign Icardi from rivals Inter, with Manchester United also linked, despite a fee already being set should PSG wish to sign him permanently.
PSG have an agreement in place to sign Icardi for £59.7m at the conclusion of his temporary spell.
