Manchester United , Arsenal and Chelsea are all chasing Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare as the race for his signature hots up.
The 20-year-old starlet is also attracting the attention of Real Madrid and Valencia with the Ligue 1 outfit likely to cash in on him in the January transfer window.
The France U21 international, who has been likened to World Cup winning midfielder Paul Pogba , is valued at around £43m.
Soumare moved to Lille from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in 2017 and he has gone on to flourish.
He has made 47 appearances for his team in Ligue 1, scoring one goal, and has helped Lille to fourth place in the league this season.
Soumare has two-and-a-half years left on his contract and could join the likes of Nicolas Pepe as another big money departure to the Premier League .
He is expected to be the only one of Lille’s promising stars to be sold this month, despite 21-year-old striker Victor Osimhen and 22-year-old centre-back Gabriel also being tracked by top clubs from across Europe.
United, Chelsea, and Arsenal could all fight for Soumare as they look to reinforce their squad for the new year.
