With Chelsea’s transfer ban having been lifted, it means that Frank Lampard and the Blues can spend their money if they want.
Lampard has stated plenty of times that he is willing to bring players in, but only if they have the right qualities.
Chelsea have gone under a new direction this season, giving the young players a chance to excel and Lampard trusting them to execute.

Centre-forward Timo Werner
Timo Werner has become one of the hottest prospects in European football, and with the current Bundesliga season it is easy to see why.
The 23-year-old has already netted 18 league goals and six assists, with another three goals in the Champions League so far.
Werner’s qualities as a striker would certainly be what Lampard would be looking for and he has the goalscoring ability to push Tammy Abraham in the forward position.
A cheaper alternative – Luka Jovic
Last season, Luka Jovic was the striker everyone was talking about after an impressive season for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga and Europa League.
It was Real Madrid who snapped him up, but this season has been a disappointing one for him so far, with Karim Benzema remaining the number one striker in Spain.
Madrid could well loan him out this month, which would give the Blues time to really go for someone in the summer as well.
Left-back David Alaba
It would be a massively ambitious bid for the Blues to go after David Alaba, however that doesn’t mean that they haven’t been linked with him already.
