Frankly, if Atletico are in the chase we’re not sure how good our chances are. Of course there’s always the possibility we offer a massive sum of money, but apart from that Madrid appear to be a much better option that us.
They are still in their country’s title race (just about), they have some of Cavani’s Uruguayan mates in their squad, and they can offer him the starting role in the team without hesitation.
We can’t do that. we have Tammy.
Doesn’t it feel odd to live in a world where our youth team striker is blocking our transfer for former world class players? We love it.
