The rumours are arriving thick and fast today with numerous players being mentioned.
Chelsea have continued to be linked with Lyon striker Moussa Dembele, and have reportedly already had a £34 million offer rejected for the 23-year old former Celtic man, say Sky Sports.
However, according to a reporter with previous Chelsea links Pipe Sierra, Chelsea have come back with an offer of around the same price (47 million euros), but this time they are adding Olivier Giroud in as part of the deal in an attempt to convince the Ligue 1 side.

This would seem like a deal that could suit both parties, even though Lyon insist Dembele is not for sale during this window.
Giroud is looking for regular first team football and seeks a move away from Stamford Bridge, whilst it will also mean that Lyon would not need to replace their star player up top with the experience of Giroud coming in.
