Chelsea will allow Marcos Alonso to leave the club in the January transfer window amid reported interest from Inter Milan.
And they have set an asking price of £25m as they continue their quest to land Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell.
Alonso has been in and out of the side since the arrival of Frank Lampard as Blues boss and he is now very unlikely to regain his spot as first choice left-back.
Emerson Palmieri appears to be the preferred option on the left side while club captain Cesar Azpilicueta has also filled in at times.
The Spaniard has spent nearly four years at Stamford Bridge but it looks like his time could be up.
And his former boss at Chelsea, Antonio Conte, is interested in signing him for his current club, Inter Milan.
The Italians sit joint top of Serie A with Juventus at the moment and are on the hunt for more full-back options.
Inter have also been linked with Manchester United defender Ashley Young with reports suggesting they could try and tempt him away from Old Trafford.

Chelsea are believed to have told the Nerazzurri that they will have to pay around £25m for Alonso if they want to sign him in January.
Another player out of favour at Chelsea, Olivier Giroud, is also a target for Inter as Conte looks to add competition for his strikers Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.
Chelsea have been linked with a number of defenders, including their former man Nathan Ake, who they can re-sign from Bournemouth for £40m, and Chilwell, who would be considerably more expensive.
Blues boss Lampard has been handed a substantial transfer kitty after being buoyed by the news that the club’s FIFA ban has been lifted.
