Chelsea are said to be in serious contention to sign Moussa Dembele in the January transfer window.
Frank Lampard finally has money to spend thanks to the Court of Arbitration for Sport reducing their two-window transfer embargo from FIFA, and now have the go-ahead to complete deals.

Lyon release statement
Amid the speculation surrounding their player, Lyon have made a move to send a hands-off warning to any club who may be showing an interest.
A statement released by the club read: “Olympique Lyonnais has taken note of certain information relayed by the media suggesting that Moussa Dembele could interest other clubs during this transfer window.
“OL would like to reaffirm its wish, as in the summer of 2019, to keep Moussa Dembele.
“The club has full confidence in Moussa and counts in particular on him to build a successful team for the seasons to come.”
Although, there was one previous saga where the club were confident of keeping a player, just one week before selling him.
