Callum Hudson-Odoi starts but Jorginho dropped – Predicted Chelsea team against Burnley

Chelsea go into their Premier League match with Burnley tomorrow looking to solve their big problem at Stamford Bridge.

In their last four Premier League games at home, they have lost to West Ham, Bournemouth and Southampton, only beating Aston Villa in that time.

The Blues have struggled against teams who have defended deep against them, creating chances but being unable to finish, only to be hit with a sucker-punch.

That’s something Frank Lampard is keen to put right, saying: “When you analyse the three games we lost, West Ham, Bournemouth and Southampton, they always give you a bad feeling losing at home in front of your home fans.

“I think Southampton we didn’t play that well, and credit to them on the day, but we need to take our chances in home games. I need to be pretty firm about that. It is easy to say, ‘unlucky, the ball didn’t drop to us, crosses went away or shots in the box went off target’, we have to get that right.

“We work on it in training but there is an element of it that is instinct and we need to find that killer instinct. Because in terms of play, we are controlling big parts of games but allowing teams to hurt us.”
