“Our best player for 5 games”

Chelsea beat Burnley 3-0 at Stamford Bridge, getting lucky to take the lead and then stepping it up in the second half.

The Blues took a while to warm up, but they weren’t to be denied in the end, and you can’t say they didn’t deserve the comfortable win.

The right hand side of our team, with Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi teaming up, was a joy to behold at times, and they got deserved praise all over the internet.

Tammy Abraham got his goal once again and should have had another, while Mason Mount disappointed some people again. It was a mixed bag game and a mixed performance overall really, but you can’t help but be happy with the three points.

As always we’ve scoured Twitter for the hottest takes on each player to sum up how we thought they played today:

James:

The reality is, at 19, Reece James has single handedly fixed our right hand side.

Barkley:

Barkley was one of the best players. His passes were breaking the opposition easily.

Jorginho:

Only Milner beats Jorginho when it comes to penalties in the EPL.

And it’s in no doubt up for debate.

Mount:

Yoh @masonmount_10 how did feel when you ball went to the fans rather than goal post? 😂😂😂#CHEBUR
