Frank Lampard insists it is ‘just the start’ for the combination of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James at Chelsea.
The youngsters played down the right for the Blues in their 3-0 win over Burnley on Saturday afternoon, with the former getting his first Premier League goal.
James also provided an assist for Tammy Abraham, and the pair gave the Clarets plenty of problems throughout the encounter at Stamford Bridge.
It was the first time that the youngsters have started in the same Premier League game together, having shone on the right in the FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest last week.

The link-up between the two academy products certainly excited Chelsea fans and Lampard admits things could get even better between them.
“It is just the start of it in terms of first team football,” Lampard said. “It’s the start of the partnership and it needs to be worked on and honed in.
“They both have different talents. When Callum is higher and running at people and being aggressive like he was today, and Reece is behind him of course it is a big thing.
It is not just that combination. We have options, we have a different option, Reece has brought that to the table to be fair. It will be a work in progress and hopefully it will improve.”
James had a standout performance from right-back, putting in several dangerous crosses, with one leading to Abraham’s goal in the first half.
His one sloppy moment came when he gave away possession and a free-kick, which led to Jeff Hendrick’s goal that was eventually ruled out for offside.
However, it was another solid display from the youngster and Lampard continues to be impressed by the academy product.
