It will reportedly cost £45m to prise Michy Batshuayi away from Chelsea this January, with Aston Villa and Crystal Palace interested in the Belgian’s services.
The Blues are said to be quoting the massive fee to any side monitoring the 26-year-old, after refusing to send him out on loan again.
Batshuayi has spent time on loan at Borussia Dortmund , Valencia and Palace since joining the Blues in 2016.
The figure is said to have left both Villa and Palace ‘reeling’, according to the Sun , and means the two sides will now look elsewhere for a new forward.
However, with Batshuayi starting just three competitive games this season, the Blues could be forced to lower their valuation to avoid losing him for free when his contract expires in 18 months.
Meanwhile, Villa have been backed to turn their attention to former striker Christian Benteke instead of Batshuayi.
“His record was really good at Villa, I think it was a goal every two games, around about that mark, to be honest, he was sensational, to be honest,” his former Villa team-mate Alan Hutton told Football Insider.

“Big, powerful, the way we played suited him, balls into the box, holding the ball up, getting to use his head, so he’d definitely suit them.
“I know he has tailed off over the last few years, Liverpool move didn’t work, Crystal Palace he’s not scored many.
“But I know him as a person and he’ll be desperate to prove his worth and maybe a move back to Villa…I’m sure the Villa fans will welcome him back with open arms.
