The January transfer window is well underway and Premier League clubs are looking to make significant improvements to their respective squads.

Kante plots Chelsea exit

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is eyeing an exit from Stamford Bridge in the summer in order to seek a transfer to Real Madrid and a fresh challenge, according to The Sun.

Kante’s rise over the past five years has been one of the biggest success stories in the Premier League.

However, while Kante is seeking a fresh challenge, Chelsea will demand in excess of £100m for his services, while Real Madrid are content with their current options.

Inter make Eriksen offer

Inter Milan have made a contract offer to Christian Eriksen’s agent and are awaiting a response, according to Sky Sports News.

The Serie A club hope to have a positive response to their offer before approaching Spurs for talks over a transfer this month.

According to the report, Inter wants to move for the player in January because they expect competition from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Juventus due to him being available on a free transfer in the summer.
