Lampard’s ominous message
It was a good day for Chelsea on Saturday as they beat Burnley 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Two of Chelsea’s young stars, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James were pivotal to the victory, with Hudson-Odoi on target and James putting in another display at right-back.
And Frank Lampard has sent out an ominous warning to Chelsea’s top four rivals, suggesting there is plenty more to come.
“It is just the start of it in terms of first team football,” Lampard said.
“It’s the start of the partnership and it needs to be worked on and honed in.
“They both have different talents. When Callum is higher and running at people and being aggressive like he was today, and Reece is behind him of course it is a big thing.
