Manchester United are getting closer to a deal for Sporting Lisbon midfielder and long-term target Bruno Fernandes.
The Portuguese star has reportedly “agreed personal terms” with the Old Trafford side, who are willing to fork out £65m for his signature.
Officials from the club were in London over the weekend to discuss the deal.
And Sporting’s manager has refused to deny speculation he could joint this month.
Fernandes would add to United’s options in midfield – and they are also looking for goal scorers after “sending scouts” to watch Lyon forward Moussa Dembele.
But they will have to do battle with Chelsea if they want to sign the 23-year-old.
London rivals Tottenham appear to be edging closer to a deal for Gedson Fernandes, who is reportedly flying into the capital today.
While Arsenal could be set to battle Wolves for Atletico Madrid midfielder Tomas Lemar as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his squad.
