Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has been out out action since the turn of the new year due to an injury that he is currently recovering from.
The American international has gone through a rather up and down time since starting his Chelsea career this summer, and it took him a while to gain the trust of Frank Lampard in order to be rewarded with regular game time.
Now, just when he seemed to have cemented a regular first team spot and things were going well, along comes this frustrating set back.
It’s terrible timing on a personal point of view for Pulisic, with the main competitor to his regular starting spot Callum Hudson-Odoi finding form since his injury return.
But Pulisic believes that it wont be to long before Blues fans will see him back out on the Stamford Bridge turf, in a positive update given to ESPN today.
The 21-year old winger said:
“It’s been almost a week, and I’m just kind of taking it day by day.
“I’m just rehabbing every day. I’m doing my best to be back in the next week, the next couple weeks.
“I don’t think it should be too long, so I’m just working every day, doing everything I can to be back on the pitch.”
