Manchester United are reportedly waiting for Boubakary Soumare to make a decision on his future as they look to complete a double January transfer swoop.
Sporting Lisbon playmaker Bruno Fernandes is believed to have agreed terms with the Red Devils to become their first signing of the transfer window, provided the two clubs can finally agree a fee.
And Soumare is now on their radar, with United chief Ed Woodward spotted on a train to Paris earlier this week amid rumours he could pursue a move for the 20-year-old Frenchman.
According to Sky Sports, United and Premier League rivals Chelsea have both held talks with regards to a summer switch, whilst Arsenal have pulled out of the race for his signature.
The box-to-box midfielder will not move until after Lille’s game with Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain on January 26 and both clubs are facing an anxious wait for his decision in a move which could go down to the wire.

Soumare was sent off in front of United scouts last weekend , being shown a second yellow card during their defeat to Dijon on Sunday.
But it seems that has not put off United, who are still keen to convince him to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Old Trafford revolution.

It has been reported in France that Lille are willing to cash-in on Soumare , who was the subject of a £34million bid from Wolves which was rejected in the summer.
The player has previously been said to be keen to stay in France until the end of the season, although his hand could be forced if the club want to cash-in.
