Real Madrid star Isco will not make a decision on his future until after Euro 2020.
The Spaniard reportedly has an offer from Chelsea but he wants to get this summer’s major competition out of the way before deciding where he will play his football next season.
Isco is ready to seek a fresh challenge having fallen down the pecking order at the Bernabeu.
He was formerly a star during Zinedine Zidane’s first spell as manager, but he and Santiago Solari failed to see eye to eye which led to suggestions he may move away, reports Eldesmarque.
Chelsea are keen to make up for lost time in the transfer market having been unable to sign players in the summer.
The Blues have previously expressed an interest in the 27-year-old and are set to reignite that should the opportunity arise.
Frank Lampard has had to make do with the squad he inherited which, despite performing impressively in spells, does have is flaws.
One of those is a lack of experience – something Isco’s arrival could go someway to solving. During his six-and-a-half years with Los Blancos he has made almost 300 appearances and won four Champions League titles.

Eden Hazard, who is now Isco’s team-mate in the Spanish capital, left Stamford Bridge in the summer and his sizeable transfer fee remains unspent.
Lampard is looking to recruit across several positions, one of which is in attack, so Isco could yet be shortlisted.
In the meantime, the Blues boss is seeking a player who can provide competition for leading scorer Tammy Abraham.
The academy graduate has led the line impressively since being given the chance at the start of the season but Lampard’s alternatives – Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi – could both depart west London this month.
