Chelsea ‘s Victor Moses is set to be reunited with Antonio Conte at Inter Milan.
The Nigerian is currently on loan at Fenerbahce but a move to the San Siro appears to be on the cards.
Moses played 40 times under Conte when he guided Chelsea to the Premier League title in 2017 and was just as regular the following season when the Blues won the FA Cup.
But after Conte was sacked 18 months ago Moses has struggle for first team action in west London.
The Italian manager is rumoured to be raiding England’s top flight for a host of January recruits as he targets the Serie A title.
Ashley Young has already joined from Manchester United while Christian Eriksen and Olivier Giroud are also targets.
Moses is now the latest name to be linked as Conte looks to replace the Newcastle-bound Valentino Lazaro, reports the Daily Mail.
The midfielder’s agent, Max Hagmayr, is negotiating a loan move to St.James’ Park with a view to a £20m transfer.
Steve Bruce is looking to add to his attacking options with Newcastle’s productivity in the final third their Achilles heel so far this year.
Victor Moses has found minutes hard to come by at Chelsea
Lazaro only joined Inter in the summer from Hertha Berlin but has struggled to establish himself in Milan.
He has started just three times in Serie A and could now be poised for a switch to the north east.
Bruce is also understood to be tracking Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen and has been given the green light by owner Mike Ashley to pursue the transfer if he wishes.
The Championship side slapped a £22m price tag on the forward in the summer in an effort to warn off potential suitors, but Bruce may still act in January.
