Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Marcus Rashford is out of action for “several weeks” in a hammer blow for the Red Devils which acts as a boost to their top-four rivals.
Chelsea currently occupy fourth place but have endured a rough run of late and sat five points clear of United ahead of their clash at Liverpool.
Arsenal are ten points back at the moment and Tottenham are eight points behind but they will both have not given up hope of usurping Chelsea.
But it’s United who have been dealt the blow after Solskjaer revealed Rashford’s injury situation.

“He had a couple of knocks and jolts when he came on against Wolves,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports.
“He has aggravated his back and has had some trouble before.
“We will give him time to recover and to rest before we put him back on the pitch.
“I wouldn’t expect him to be back in the next few weeks.
“I’m not sure we are going to see him before the international break.”
