Man Utd turn to £42m Chelsea transfer target Moussa Dembele after Marcus Rashford injury

Manchester United have reportedly joined Chelsea in the race to sign French striker Moussa Dembele.

The Red Devils are believed to be looking for a new striker this month, following the injury to Marcus Rashford.

And reports from France suggest that they have turned their attention to Lyon hitman Dembele.

FootMercato claim that United have been keeping close tabs on the 23-year-old, and sent scouts to watch him play in the 4-3 win over Nantes on Saturday.

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Dembele for months, and are believed to have had an offer of £34m rebuffed, while Tottenham are also credited with interest after Harry Kane’s long-term layoff.
