Transfer news live: Chelsea ‘agree terms’ as Liverpool enter Werner race, Arsenal close to deal

Clubs around Europe only have a few weeks left to add to their squads, so we could start to see activity being stepped up.

In the Premier League, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all thought to be keen on making a few signings, with the Gunners eyeing a centre-back.

Chelsea are reportedly trying to sign attacking reinforcements, while Spurs are still on the hunt for another addition after already confirming the signing of Gedson Fernandes on an 18-month loan from Portuguese side Benfica.

West Ham are in the market for a central midfielder, with the Hammers linked to a loan move for Ross Barkley. Will David Moyes get the player he wants to stiffen up the spine of his team?
