Frank Lampard has confirmed Tammy Abraham’s injury situation after Chelsea’s dramatic 2-2 draw at home to Arsenal and made a January transfer window claim.
Abraham was seen limping to the changing rooms at the end of the contest, which saw the Gunners come back from behind twice to snatch a point.
The Chelsea striker started and played through the entire match but fans were left holding their breath following the scenes of him walking gingerly post-game.
Lampard has since offered an update on the 22-year-old’s situation following the encounter in his post-match press conference.

“He has ice on his ankle, but we don’t know yet,” Lampard told football.london on the extent of his knowledge about Abraham’s problem.
Asked if he had enough in the squad to deal with Abraham’s injury amid the January transfer window, Lampard responded: “Yeah, I do.”
Arsenal’s second goal was scored by Hector Bellerin as he equalised in the 87th minute for the Gunners.
There were claims that the ball should have been put out of play and Lampard has since offered his take on the situation.
“The ball should have gone out. I’m not angry at them, but we should have knocked it out,” Lampard added.
