Chelsea fans were left stunned by Timo Werner’s club RB Leipzig as they took a savage dig at the Blues over their forward’s translated tweet.
The Bundesliga’s top scorer has been linked with a move to London as talks over a £60m move were opened .
But Frank Lampard’s side could be edged out as Liverpool is seen as the German’s preferred destination .
And one Blues fan was quick to react to Werner’s latest social media activity.
The 23-year-old shared a snap over the weekend after scoring two goals against Union Berlin in the first game since the winter break.
Writing in German, the forward’s tweet said: “Missed you, Bundesliga.”
A Chelsea fan, though, commented with an alternative English translation.
“I’m joining Chelsea, Bundesliga,” the supporter put in a edit of the Google Translate screenshot.
Leipzig, though, had a brilliant response to the tweet.
They commented: “Nice try, not gonna lie.

With their own edit, the German side’s translation read: “I’ve seen Chelsea play vs Newcastle , so I’ll stay in Bundesliga.”
Their post was liked thousands of times before being shared on Reddit.
And the Blues faithful were left non-plussed at the savage dig.
“When you get s**-talked by a meme club on Twitter and they’re not wrong,” one supporter said.
Another commented: “We’ve just been ruined.”
While a third could not take it.
“Step one: try not to cry,” they said.
“Step two: cry a lot.”
A Blues fan translated the forward’s tweet as saying he would come to Chelsea before the German side said he ‘had seen’ the loss to Newcastle and ‘decided to stay in Bundesliga’
