There is a lot of talk on who Chelsea need to sign, who they can sign this window, and who they will need to wait until the summer for.
One thing’s for sure and that is they need help now! Waiting until the summer risks losing out on Champions League football, which in turn see’s them losing out financially, and inevitably losing out on all these players they are waiting until the summer for anyway because they will only want Champions League football.
Frank Lampard’s team are clueless trying to unlock low block defences, and also miss a lot of clear chances. We all know that Tammy Abraham needs help up top with the arrival of a natural goalscorer.
But they also need someone to come in and create more chances, as this is a player they also desperately lack.
If I was Lampard, I would be asking the board to go and have a talk with Real Madrid and at least enquire about signing their midfielder Isco on a loan deal until the end of the season.
He has been linked with Chelsea, as reported by Football London, all be it only really whispers at this stage, but still.
This provides no risk to either side, gives lots more first team football to the Spanish international, and gives Chelsea a technically brilliant creator in that attacking midfield role. No brainer for me.
