Thomas Lemar’s future is once again the source of speculation.
The French winger has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs in the January transfer window, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and even Wolves reported to be in the race for his signature.
Atletico boss Diego Simeone has previously admitted that Lemar does not have a long-term future at the Wanda Metropolitano, so a move away from Spain could be on the cards.
With that said, here’s everything we know about the Lemar transfer rumours.

£92m bid
Back in the summer of 2017, Arsenal were first linked with a move for Lemar whilst he was still an AS Monaco player and he was seen as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez amid links to Manchester City.
In the end, Sanchez ended up staying at the Emirates until January.

“He is always ready to receive the ball, he is quite complete in both defence and attack.”

Whether the Gunners did make another bid for Lemar as Wenger says has never been disclosed.
And with the Frenchman stepping down at the end of the 2017/2018 season, the north London outfit’s apparent interest in the midfielder vanished too.
As a result, Atletico Madrid swooped in and signed Lemar the following summer for a deal in the region of £52.7m.
