Three transfers Chelsea could green light to replace injured Tammy Abraham

Chelsea have had to contend with the fact that Tammy Abraham could miss a number of games after an ankle injury against Arsenal.

The Englishman hobbled off at the end of the match with the help of medical staff and Frank Lampard has admitted he does not know when he will be back.

He said: “The good news is he hasn’t fractured anything, we were worried about a hairline fracture. The other news is we still have to see how he develops. It’s not a clear-cut one.

“He’s not fit for the weekend, but whether he’ll be fit for Leicester after that I’m still not sure. So I haven’t got great news, or the news for you. It’s still not clear at the moment.”

But one thing is clear and that is that Chelsea are in desperate need of a striker, so Starsport are on hand to provide the Blues with three players they could sign before the window shuts next week.

Abraham could do well to learn from the Uruguayan, however, Atletico Madrid seem to be closing in on the striker.

His wages could also provide a major stumbling block, where he earns £350,000-a-week.
