Chelsea are through to the fifth round of the FA Cup after recording a 2-1 victory over Championship side Hull City on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues made the trip to the Kcom Stadium looking to avoid being the victims of a cup upset, and things couldn’t have started better for Frank Lampard’s men when Michy Batshuayi struck to put them 1-0 up within six minutes.
Despite chances coming and going, the Blues had to wait until half-way through the second half to double their lead.
Academy graduate Fikayo Tomori was the first to Ross Barkley’s far-post free kick allowing him to finish a free header past the Tigers’ goalkeeper.

But, things didn’t all go Chelsea’s way, when Kamil Grosicki’s deflected free-kick found its way past Willy Caballero to half the deficit.
That made for a nervy final 12 minutes for Lampard’s side, but they held on to secure their place in the fifth round draw that takes place on Monday evening.
Callum Hudson-Odoi was named in Chelsea’s starting lineup for the match after starting the last three Premier League games for the Blues.
He was replaced by fellow academy graduate Billy Gilmour with just over 22 minutes of the game to play.
However, a gesture by the England international after the game is bound to go down well with Blues fans.
As caught by the BT Sport cameras, the winger made his way over to a young fan in the away end to pass over his match shirt.
Hudson-Odoi has played 24 times for Chelsea this season since returning from injury, he has scored three goals and provided five assists in all competitions this campaign.
