Chelsea Piatek transfer claims make sense, despite weak source » Chelsea News

Chelsea have an interest in Piatek according to Sky Italia’s Louis Girardi, whose Tweet you can see below.

There are a number of reasons to be sceptical about his claims, and he’s hardly a top source. However there is also plenty of reason to think the claims make sense.

What do we know about this window? We know Chelsea are looking for a strike to come in and help out Tammy Abraham, someone who can offer more than Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud.

It doesn’t have to be Pele, just someone with talent who can make a difference in some games.

There are just a few days of the window left, and they won’t want to be left empty handed.

What else do we know? Piatek hasn’t settled in Milan and the club may well be willing to give up on him. The player himself might see the chance to play for a club where he will be given plenty of chances to find his scoring boots again.

So despite the lack of credibility of the source, we can imagine there being some truth to this.
