Chelsea aware of Real Madrid striker as backup plan » Chelsea News

Chelsea’s hunt for a striker has entered it’s final days, but it doesn’t look like we are yet to be any closer to a conclusion.

The main names being mentioned right now is Edinson Cavani from PSG, and Krzysztof Piatek from AC Milan.

The Telegraph have just released their latest report on the situation and have confirmed that Cavani is now looking unlikely with the Uruguayan preferring a move to Atletico Madrid, but Piatek is being monitored as a potential pursuit as well.

The report also states that as Frank Lampard aims to bring one of his main targets in this week, that they are also aware that Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic could be available on loan this window, so he is a backup choice if they fail with Cavani or Piatek.

All three strikers have had previous strong links with Chelsea before, so the club should know all about them all, and as per the report, they are on Lampard’s list as well.

They better hurry!
