Barcelona preparing £20m bid for Chelsea star Willian after Richarlison transfer fail

Barcelona have made another attempt on Willian at Chelsea as they look to toe down an attacking player before the transfer window shuts.

The Catalan club have long been linked with the Brazilian after making a series of bids last season and the year before.

But the Blues have always rebuffed their interest, despite the last bid amounting to a reported £55m.

However, Barcelona believe another raid is possible this time round with Willian’s contract currently dwindling down.

Chelsea have a policy of only offering over-30s a one-year deal but the former Shakhtar attacker wants a longer contract.
