Abraham, Giroud, Loftus-Cheek, James – Latest Chelsea injury news and expected return dates

Chelsea face a big game this weekend in their hopes of securing Premier League football next season.

The Blues, who are in fourth place in the table, face Leicester City, who sit one place above them in third position, at the King Power Stadium in Saturday’s early kick off.

Both teams had a successful time in the FA Cup, making it to the fifth round. But while Chelsea had a free week to prepare, Leicester were in Carabao Cup semi-final action, losing 2-1 to Aston Villa thanks to a stoppage time goal.

It is also coming to the end of the transfer window, so both sides could see new players make their debut during the game.

Unsurprisingly, he wasn’t named in the squad for the FA Cup clash.

He made 40 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists.
