Chelsea youth talent George McEachran has joined FC Cambuur on loan for the second half of the season.
The brilliant youth academy talent, younger brother of Josh, has been dominating at youth level for a season and a half now, and it certainly felt like time for him to branch out and try men’s football.

Cambuur seems like a great place to start. They are top of the Dutch second tier, and should be well placed to use a talented young creative midfielder in the second lap of the season.
For George, hopefully this will bring a new challenge but also plenty of minutes. If everything goes to plan, he will head into the summer with a much boosted CV, ready to take a step up to a loan in the Championship or similar.
We don’t get to see much of the Dutch second tier here in the UK, but rest assured Chelsea News will keep you updated on all of George’s progress.
