Chelsea were back to winning ways at the weekend as they overcame Hull City in the FA Cup.
Their reward is a fifth round tie against either Shrewsbury Town or Liverpool, with a replay coming up between the two sides.
That tie is slated to take place in early March as for the first time ever fifth round ties have been switched to the midweek slot because of the Premier League’s inaugural winter break.

But there will still be one eye on transfers. Deadline day is fast approaching and Chelsea are yet to make a signing despite links to the likes of Jadon Sancho, Ben Chilwell and Krzysztof Piatek.
But all signs are pointing towards it being an exciting final week of January for the Blues and head coach Frank Lampard.

Dries Mertens pursuit
Chelsea are still looking for their first signing of the January transfer window and Dries Mertens could be that man.
Frank Lampard is keen on bringing in a forward to kill off matches like his side have been unable to do this season, and the 32-year-old could fit the bill.
The hard-working forward would be a useful addition to the Blues, adding his experience and goalscoring ability to the Blues.
Chelsea have made contact over a move, but there’s no indication yet which way it will go.
