The future of Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud looks to be uncertain.
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a Stamford Bridge exit during the January transfer window, with Serie A side Inter Milan looking to be the most likely destination. Fellow Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are also said to be interested in taking the 33-year-old.
Giroud has found game time under Frank Lampard hard to come by so far this season, and seems to be behind Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi in the pecking order at Chelsea.
But with an injury picked up by Abraham in the draw with Arsenal, could Giroud stay with the Blues for longer than expected?

Newcastle want loan deal
Giroud is not short of admirers in the Premier League, with Newcastle one of the clubs interested in signing the 33-year-old.
Steve Bruce’s Magpies have struggled for goals this season amid a number of injury problems within the squad.
The Telegraph reports that Newcastle are keen to sign Giroud on loan, and that the Magpies made contact with Chelsea last week to discuss the possibility of signing the Frenchman on a short-term basis.

However, the report states that Chelsea will not allow him to leave unless the Blues can bring in a replacement.
Aston Villa interest
Newcastle are not the only club reportedly interested in signing the former Arsenal striker.
The Daily Star reports that Aston Villa have made Giroud their top transfer target for January, following a serious injury to striker Wesley.
