Olivier Giroud intermediary confirms Man Utd among five transfer proposals

Olivier Giroud has transfer proposals from Manchester United, Tottenham, Newcastle, Inter Milan and Lazio, according to an intermediary working on his Chelsea exit.

Vincenzo Morabito is reportedly amongst those working with Giroud as he aims to escape Stamford Bridge having barely featured under Frank Lampard this season.

He has no shortage of potential suitors with Manchester United among those eyeing the ex-Arsenal man as they eye a striker to replace the injured Marcus Rashford.

But Morabito says an exit depends on Chelsea being able to find a late replacement – ruling out a deal for Napoli ace Dries Mertens being completed to open the door for his move.

Giroud has made just five Premier League appearances for Chelsea with reports claiming he could skip training this morning to ensure he is well-placed to complete a move elsewhere.
