Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has revealed he does not know when forward Christian Pulisic will be able to return to action.
The American winger has scored five goals and contributed two assists in the Premier League so far this campaign after making a £58m switch from Borussia Dortmund.
However, he has not played for the Blues since their 1-1 draw with Brighton on New Year’s Day after injuring his thigh.
The problem means Pulisic has missed five games so far, four in the league and one FA Cup match, with Chelsea only winning one of the league games in his absence.
With the Blues struggling to make their chances pay at the moment, the return of Pulisic would be very welcome but Lampard has no idea exactly when that will be.
When asked when the forward will be back in action, Lampard said: “It is hard to answer. We tried to get him out last week and step it up a little bit bit we had to pull out of that.

Pulisic suffered with muscle problems while at Dortmund last season and his national team manager Gregg Berhalter has addressed his star man’s injury woes.
